The Landscape Pro

“I just wanted to take a moment to give you some feedback regarding our experience with your POOpeas product.  I have never been a big fan of offering, or advocating the use of, fertilizers & plant foods to our customers when they are purchasing plants from our nursery due to the inevitable misuse by customers on sensitive new transplants. I would venture to say that at least 95% of the failed plantings & losses most home gardeners experience are a direct result of improper use / overdose of fertilizers & plant foods at the time of transplanting.  Typical chemical based fertilizers can wreak havoc on the root system of new transplants – especially evergreens, and other sensitive species. The high ammonia content burns the newly transplanted root systems at a time when they are already stressed……….. spelling sure doom for many a tree, shrub, flower, etc.

But upon reading about your POOpeas product, it appeared as though this could just be the answer that most home gardeners have been longing for.  I decided to purchase some of your POOpeas, and give it a try on some of our personal plants around the nursery grounds – the results were excellent.  Once the POOpeas passed our own little “test” I decided to give it a try on our website and started offering it to all of our customers.  The results….. once again……. have been outstanding.

We have had customers with improved bloom color & quantity on virtually ALL flowering varieties we offer ( Roses, Daylilies, and Crape Myrtles just to name a few ), and have had excellent comments on the increased color & overall vigor of all evergreen species.  The use of POOpeas really seems to benefit the silver / blue colored evergreen selections – such as Colorado Blue Spruce, Junipers, etc.

I can truly say that I have yet to see a customer experience any loss or failed planting when they have purchased POOpeas for use with their new plantings.  We typically recommend its use mixed with water as a drench at the time of planting, and then followed up with a monthly application as a top dressing ( along with mulching, etc as usual ). Have yet to see any issues with root burn or damage on any species we offer…..even in the heat of summer!!! That was NEVER the case with traditional, chemical based fertilizers & plant foods.

So, I just wanted to take a moment & let you know how satisfied we have been with POOpeas……. and the extremely positive feedback we have received from our customers who have purchased POOpeas for use with new plants they received from our nursery.  It’s a great win / win for everyone involved – the farmers,  the gardeners,  the earth,  and let’s not forget the plants!!”

Congratulations on a great product,

Darren Valentine,

Evergreen Nursery
