The Dirt Diva

POOpeas may be the single most efficient, clean, tidy, handy, nutritious, and affordable organic fertilizer you can buy. Odorless and granular, dust free, PooPeas is my fertilizer of choice. I use it by the cupful in my garden containers when I plant. During the growing season, I apply it to my raised vegetable beds, perennial borders, essentially anywhere I am working in the garden. Before applying a fresh layer of mulch to the garden areas in the spring and fall, I scatter POOpeas evenly over the beds so it can do it can break down throughout the seasons. It makes a wonderful top dressing for a freshly mowed lawn. Apply it once or twice, especially in the fall after the last mowing.

I even use POOpeas in the house! Yes, a cup of PooPeas in a gallon of water makes a great thirst quencher for houseplants. And if that’s too much trouble for you, just put a handful or less (depending on the size of the plant/pot) on top of the soil and forget about it. Just water as you would on a regular schedule.
